Nansky voit le jour dans un milieu modeste. Cet environnement qui constitue, somme toute, un lot assez commun et d’ordinaire sans conséquences, va dans son cas tracer les contours d’une destinée singulière. Subissant une morale dévote faite d’interdits et de privations, elle vit son enfance comme une longue claustration à l’écart des feux de la Ville Lumière. Ne combattant la morosité de son quotidien que par le recours toujours plus pressant aux ressources de l’imagination, elle développe alors une intense ‘’vie intérieure’’ dont le dessin et la peinture vont vite devenir les modes d’expression privilégiés grâce aux boites de crayons de couleurs et de peinture que lui rapporte son père imprimeur .
Son père décède brutalement alors qu’elle prépare son baccalauréat.
Alors sans plans réfléchis mais animée par une détermination longuement maturée, elle abandonne ses études de publicité et le cocon familial sans se ménager de possibilités de retour. Mais s’il y a lieu de parler de fuite, c’est bien d’une « fuite en avant » qu’il s’agit, tant elle est commandée par le besoin viscéral d’expériences et de rencontres.
Après de multiples voyages elle rencontre un marchand d’art qui va l’inciter à peindre, grâce à lui elle découvre les toiles des grands peintres qu’elle n’a jamais vus et ne connaît pas, elle est enthousiasmée par les impressionnistes et les cubistes.
Autodidacte elle s'initie à la peinture acrylique et à la bombe et elle présente sa première exposition à la Coupole.
Depuis cette date, elle a participé à de nombreuses expositions en galeries , salons et ventes aux enchères .
Nansky is a french artist who discovered painting and drawing in her childhood thanks to the various materials her father brought back to her from his printing factory. She copied the most famous painters according to her own technique. The home environment could seem very common and not out of the ordinary, was going to her unusual destiny. Suffering from abus and hardships due to a devout old fashioned way of life, her childhood was like a long confinement away from the appealing lights of the city.
She could only fight against her miserable daily life by appealing more and more to her imaginative resources, then she developed a deep "iner life" she was going to express mostly through drawing and painting.
" Confined to my bedroom, I used to kill time by watching the seasons passing from the window and my one and only concern was to wait for springtime and autumn to watch the blossoming colors of fruit trees" Once she passed her A Levels, her heart broken by her father's death, she left the family nest, never wanting to come back.
Despite travelling intensively, her expectations remained unsatisfied and her painting still similar to a blind man.
She had to wait for a first visit to New York to at last get something like the beginnings of an answer.
Her meeting with a famous arts agent was decisive. Thanks to him, she became and part of was supported by various artistic circles in New- York and Paris.
In view of the growing scope of her work, and once she became known in the France, she sold to most famous auction houses "Drouot" and "Drouot Montaigne", Nansky began to win the confidence of the most famous artists and be accepted the select circle of arts agents, galleries and collectors.
